Staycation Vol. 1: Fort Victoria, BGC

Staycation - Fort Victoria

Have you ever been in one of those moods where one day, you’re cool as a daisy, and the next you’re stressed about everything and nothing at the same time? Maybe it’s because I’m experiencing quarter-life crisis, too. Since the start of the year, I’ve been planning a staycation to relax and just chill and not have to do chores. At the same time, my high school best friends and I are planning to have a summer outing. Knowing how hard it is to do an out of town trip that actually happens, I suggested we just do a staycation. They agreed.

Hungry Saturday at Bonifacio High Street

Bonifacio High Street

I did some changes on my blog for the past two weeks, if you haven’t noticed. The biggest one is the blog make-over. I had my blog theme changed – huge thanks to Kai! I changed my blog timeline from Lifestyle and Travel Blog to Personal and Travel Blog. I messed around with a few things here and there like my sidebar, header, footer, and about me page – but yes, some things will still be changing. What you haven’t seen is that I will also be changing a few things about my future (and even past) contents. I’m going for a more personal route now, and I’m not just gonna be talking about my major travels now. So, buckle up, friends, my future posts will be like… this one.

Life Goals Personal

2017 + First Quarter Goals

First Quarter Goals

Like most people, I tend to list down ‘resolutions’ or ‘goals’ every start of the year. And like most people, sometimes I go overboard and write down a bunch of things that just wouldn’t be all accomplished within a year. Or things that are far too vague that I have no idea how it would be considered ‘accomplished’. So for the past few days of 2017, I listed and re-listed my goals, getting them down to a pretty manageable and realistic count. I’m pretty happy with the end result and am excited to work on them for this year.

2016 in a Nutshell

2016 is a crazy ride, and whoever disagrees might be a bit loco. 2016 was honestly just a mix of ‘!!!’ and ‘!!!!!!!!’ for me. I personally didn’t have anything bad that happened to me this year but the politics around the world just drove me crazy all year-round. I don’t even want to expound on that since I am on a good mood today.

2016 is a year of travel for me. I’ve taken three major trips and a few minor ones – and I also watched my bank account depleting every time. Lol. I’ve got lost for more than an hour in Hong Kong with my friends, got cornered by a guy in a 7-Eleven branch, visited a place covered in fog for the very first time, went on a foodtrip around Singapore, finally gotten to ride the roller coaster at USS, hoarded lots of clothes at Cotton On, tried surfing, travelled solo (!!!), ate spicy food willingly, experienced autumn, run after the last train at Seoul, had the best barbeque meal ever, rode the world’s second steepest wooden roller coaster, and a whole lot more!

Life Lately Personal

Life Lately: Crazy Times!!

You know what? If I promise myself I’ll get back to blogging, then I always end up breaking that promise so I’m not promising anyone anything. LOL. The past few months of my inactivity has been crazy as hell. There’s been a lot of good times, bad times, and in between. I had many of moments that made me laugh and smile, moments that made me sad for the first times since a long time, and even moments that made me pissed as heck. See? It’s been a crazy ride, and shout-out to my BFFs and Twitter friends for being along those crazy times. Now, I’m bringing my stories to my blog – except for one that will never be mentioned again, lol. I missed you guys too, and your stories.
