Inflatable Island PH: A Comprehensive Travel Guide

Inflatable Island PH - Richel Goes Places

Have you heard of any floating playgrounds lately? I would assume so – it appears to be all the rage lately. And last weekend, I finally set my foot on one! It was a long trip waiting to happen. I was working weekends for the past months that it’s so hard to set an out-of-town trip with my friends and family. So, when I finally found out that I have weekends off this month, I booked us tickets to Inflatable Island PH faster than you can say “FREEDOM!”

Just a three-hour drive from Manila, Inflatable Island PH claims to be the biggest floating playground in Asia. It’s around 3400 of square meters – roughly the size of eight basketball courts! What makes it so huge? Well, it includes slides, towers, bridges, human launchers, monkey bars, swings, etc. Perfect for adrenaline junkies and beach babies – which is coincidentally what they call their visitors!

Finally in Bohol, Philippines

Bohol, Philippines

Just a two hours plane ride from Manila or an even quicker ferry ride from its more famous neighbor Cebu, Bohol offers a different set of adventure. The island is famous for its Chocolate Hills or photos of the wide-eyed tiny tarsiers. Not only that, but Bohol also have a set of white beaches and man-made forests that they can boast about.

Staycation Vol. 1: Fort Victoria, BGC

Staycation - Fort Victoria

Have you ever been in one of those moods where one day, you’re cool as a daisy, and the next you’re stressed about everything and nothing at the same time? Maybe it’s because I’m experiencing quarter-life crisis, too. Since the start of the year, I’ve been planning a staycation to relax and just chill and not have to do chores. At the same time, my high school best friends and I are planning to have a summer outing. Knowing how hard it is to do an out of town trip that actually happens, I suggested we just do a staycation. They agreed.

Hungry Saturday at Bonifacio High Street

Bonifacio High Street

I did some changes on my blog for the past two weeks, if you haven’t noticed. The biggest one is the blog make-over. I had my blog theme changed – huge thanks to Kai! I changed my blog timeline from Lifestyle and Travel Blog to Personal and Travel Blog. I messed around with a few things here and there like my sidebar, header, footer, and about me page – but yes, some things will still be changing. What you haven’t seen is that I will also be changing a few things about my future (and even past) contents. I’m going for a more personal route now, and I’m not just gonna be talking about my major travels now. So, buckle up, friends, my future posts will be like… this one.

Weekend Getaway: Baler, Aurora (Part 2)

dsc00422

Here’s part two of my Baler travel posts. I’ve been thinking of all those Filipinos and Filipinas who have visited all the 81 provinces in the Philippines, and I’m trying to figure out how many provinces I’ve been to myself – it’s 11, by the way. While it is not my goal to visit all the provinces in the country, I still want to go to as many as I can. Anyhow, here are the two more places I visited when we were in Baler, Aurora.
