Life Lately: Crazy Times!!

crazy-times

You know what? If I promise myself I’ll get back to blogging, then I always end up breaking that promise so I’m not promising anyone anything. LOL. The past few months of my inactivity has been crazy as hell. There’s been a lot of good times, bad times, and in between. I had many of moments that made me laugh and smile, moments that made me sad for the first times since a long time, and even moments that made me pissed as heck. See? It’s been a crazy ride, and shout-out to my BFFs and Twitter friends for being along those crazy times. Now, I’m bringing my stories to my blog – except for one that will never be mentioned again, lol. I missed you guys too, and your stories.

  1. I came back from my Korea trip three weeks ago. I had mixed feelings about the place. But, guys, THE FOOD is just superb! Best street foods ever and best barbeque in the world! Also, hella cheap socks and make-up.
  2. Just have to say that Koreans are the nicest people ever. Ever.
  3. Solo travelling isn’t that bad, but I know for a fact now that I still prefer travelling with companions.
  4. Got roped into helping organize our project’s Halloween shindig, but it is worth it because kids in costumes are just too cute.
  5. Watched Doctor Strange with my family. It was an awesome film, and made me love Benedict Cumberbatch more. I also realized just how much I love small dates like this with my family.
  6. Booked tickets to Taiwan with my friends because we are officially the “we go where the discounted plane tickets go” kind of travelers.
  7. Did bowling with my office-mates. I completely sucked at it, but I love the sports and the jesting while we played.
  8. Attended my first Blogapalooza and met fellow bloggers for the first time, as well! Met LA of Parapixelife and Nika of Gypsy-Soul.
  9. Getting my finances in order and I’m planning to relaunch my finance blog next year.
  10. Making plans to take the family to my favorite place ever aka Disneyland next year. *fingers crossed*

Also, a few changes I’m excited about: I’m trying to give my blog a bit of  a make-over which included maybe changing my theme again, bugging my brother to make me a logo, and being more personal with my posts. And just a heads up, I’ll be doing sponsored posts in a few weeks. I need the money, lmao. I promise it’s not completely out of scope with what my blog’s all about though!

ALSO, considering the bad news lately, if you guys ever feel the need to talk to someone about anything, please please please consider talking to anyone or to me. I’ll listen. I won’t judge. I’ll even talk, if you need me to. I’ll tell you embarrassing stories about myself or about this guy who turned out to be a complete ass. If you ever feel alone or sad or anything, feel free to approach me on any of my social media sites, on my e-mail, or leave your e-mail below and I’ll go talk to you. You are not alone.

I’m ending this post with Joel’s tweet:

“Your life and who you uniquely are is invaluable. You matter. You’re a soul. You are loved. Whether you believe it or not, that’s truth.”

xoxo, Richel V.

What a lovely post. Have travelling companions is amazing because you get to share that experience with someone. Travelling solo is great because every time i’ve done that I found that It made me grow a lot.
6 is so funny, sometimes you just have to do with what you have. And yes to 9 and 10 🙂

Wah, post your Korea trip already! I want to see all the food and crave on them hahaha

I want to try solo travelling too, but I might just stay in the hotel the whole time and not go out. Hahaha I’m a sleepyhead and I like comfy hotels. Wahaha I have tried bowling too, but it’s with Gerald so hindi masyado nakakahiya kung mag-fail haha But I did have a few strikes! 🙂

Sayang di namin kayo naabutan nung Blogapalooza! Tinanong nako ni Dianne kung ikaw ba yun nakita namin eh pero hindi kami sure talaga haha I also saw Auradelle, pero hindi talaga kami sure haha nakakahiya mag approach, you know shy type kami wahaha

I’m curious, what’s the “bad news” recently??? Also, I’m excited with your rebrand and the finance blog! 🙂

      Sadly, I didn’t take much photos. 🙁

On my first morning in, I slept in way too late because it was so comfy in the bed and I had no one to force me to get up. Hahaha!

I think nung dumating na kayo I went home na? What time ba kayo dumating? Umuwi na din ako ng 6-ish, haha. See you on the next one nalang! <3

Welcome back, R! I guessed that’s oay going on a hiatus. At least you’re back now. Yippie!

Wow, Korea! I bet you enjoyed your trip. Are we expecting a Korea travel guide soon? I have tried travelling alone but never had out of the country. And you’re right, travelling with companion is more enjoyable.

DS is a good movie, actually a great one. Didn’t expect Marvel can do way better than their previous movies.

Now, Taiwan and Disneyland! Enjoy your future travels, Rich.

Good luck with your finance blog.

That’s a nice quote. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

Hi, Clint! It’s been a long time.

I am actually working on that! Planning to publish it next month or on 2017 na. Haha! I haven’t tried travelling solo here yet. Mostly because commuting in the PH is confusing and scaring me.

DS is actually my favorite Marvel movie now. There’s less questions and dead scenes compared to other Marvel movies.

      Thanks, Clint! 🙂

My best friend is currently travelling around South Korea – She’s in Busan right now. It doesn’t look like it’s particularly pretty, but there’s definitely a lot going on and she’s met so many nice people! It’s not on the top of my list where to go, but I’m sure it’s a great experience. Taiwan would be neat as well!
