The Disney princess in me was so elated once we arrived at Hong Kong Disneyland. I felt like I was going to cry because I’ve never actually thought I’ll be able to visit this place when I was a kid. It’s so amazing to see the fruits of my hard work (and my parents’) as I stepped foot on the place. I really felt like the happiest girl on Earth. Okay, enough drama, but I felt like I accomplished something back there.
It was our third day in Hong Kong and we arrived in Disneyland just in time for the afternoon parade. Afterwards, we went on a few meet and greet sessions before lining up for rides. I’ll let the photos do the talking.
Obligatory Hong Kong Disneyland group shot!
Mickey surfing on top of a whale. Why not?
Making our way to the happiest place on Earth!
Where have your shoes taken you?
I always like how theme parks has this feel on them.
Like everything is so detached from the stressful real life.
And people are willing to line up for hours just to meet a mascot or go for a ride.
And you can be lost and not feel sad about it.
You can go to stations and ride trains; then go off at any station you choose.
Here we met the cartoon icons that helped shaped our childhood.
Then we went here to meet a certain someone that we all love.
That someone is this guy.
With his toys and stuff.
I reckon his hugs are as warm as Olaf’s.
Then we watched the parade.
And saw the Disney Princesses. My favorite is Belle. Who’s yours?
“Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy.”
These are the infamous HKD50 Mickey Mouse waffles.
Waffle stands. Mickey Mouse waffle stands.
I like buildings like this.
Watching someone create masterpiece.
I want one of these so bad. It’s worth HKD4950 though…
More beautiful masterpieces.
The original chipmunks: Chip and Dale! Yuna not included.
Entering the new attraction.
Where Tangled is featured.
Different castles are seen…
And we meet Tink!
Space Mountain was closed. 🙁
Andy’s toys are everywhere!
We ended the day with a… [X]
I wasn’t able to get photos with the princesses. Or do they really don’t do photo ops? Stay tuned because I’m definitely coming back, Disneyland!
Disneyland is open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily.
Have you been to any Disneyland?
xoxo, Richel V.
