Never Have I Ever: 7 Things I’ve Never Done in this Lifetime

never have i

I’ve been really behind on making blog posts. That’s because I’ve been working on something that I will hopefully blog about within the week. In the meantime, I hope to introduce myself more to you guys in way of this blog post. Without further ado, here are the 7 Things I’ve Never Done in This Lifetime.

1. Never have I ever drank coffee.

They say there are only two kinds of people in the world: the ones who are addicted to coffee and those who wouldn’t even want to get near it. I’m the latter. I don’t even like the smell of coffee; I don’t know why. I survived on soft drinks and energy drinks when making my college capstone (more known as thesis), while my teammates drank cup after cup of coffee.

2. Never have I ever been to a date.

I think this makes me sound lame. 20 years old and have never been on a date. I’ve been on dates with friends, family, and myself; I even became a third wheel for friends but never on a date date. Maybe I should add this to my bucket list… LOL.

3. Never have I ever travelled alone.

I have this fear of somehow ending up in a ditch somewhere. I’m planning to change this and soon, I hope. I think this is just one of those things that I have to do for no particular reason. And, yes, this one’s already on my bucket list.

4. Never have I ever done any water-related activities.

Except swimming. I’ve never snorkeled, ride a banana boat, helmet dive, cliff dive, dive, etc. Mostly because I don’t know how to swim – I only know how to float enough to not drown. Haha! Another is because I have terrible eyesight without my glasses.

5. Never have I ever seen a waterfall.

I don’t really know why I haven’t seen a waterfall. If my family goes to a trip that involves a waterfall, I’m either a. sick, b. have school/work or c. way too busy to go otherwise.

6. Never have I ever liked marshmallows.

Yes, they are fluffy and they are cute. But I don’t want them in my ice cream or near my hotdogs. That is all. Thanks.

7. Never have I ever eaten any seafood except for fish.

Despite my family’s numerous tries, I still don’t eat seafood (except for fish). My reason for this is really weird. I just feel like they’re still alive since they’re still in shells and stuff. Like I said, really weird since I love lechon and fried fish.

This is also a good game to play with your friends. I think this was originally a drinking game? One person will say a “Never Have I Ever…” statement and if you (and other participants of the game) has done that statement, then you will have to take a shot (or something.) Please note that I neither confirm nor deny if I have played this game in real life. (My parents read my blog sometimes…)

This was a fun blog post idea. I had fun making it. Let me know if you have something like this up in your blog; link back to me, or comment the link down below. I’d love to read it!

So, what’s one thing you haven’t done yet?

xoxo, Richel V.

I don’t feel like I’m missing out much – except for the water activities, haha! Maybe the regrets will come five years down the road! Hahaha! Sometimes I feel the same way – being undateable. BUT I’m pretty okay with where I am now so I got over it! 🙂

Neither have I been to a date!!! High five, buddy! Loved reading this post. I also don’t know how to swim AT ALL, so water activities are something I am avoiding a lot, haha 🙂

I have never tried extreme sports. I like to believe that I’m adventurous, but not stupid. Bahaha! Just watching people do extreme sports give me major anxiety! I may not make it alive!

The last time I did something extreme (not sports) and I asked my cousin to go, she told me: “I don’t want to die yet.” I love extreme activities, but I can’t help agreeing with her. I always feel like I’m going to die – but I still do it anyways! Hahaha!

You’ve never tried coffee?? Whyyyyyy. huhu. It’s the best thing in the worldddd. Lol, just kidding. I only know very few people who haven’t ever tried coffee though, but it’s really cute that you know how to stand in your own ideals. Some might even be just trying out coffee ’cause everyone else loves them. Oh my, why did I only realize that now. :3 Also, your thoughts about seafoods are adorable! hihi.

I also might try this one, if you don’t mind. Hehe. It seems fun to write something like this. 😀

If I don’t like how a dish/drink smells, then I would probably not try it. Huhuhu. And I also don’t like coffee-flavored anything so I assumed I’m not really missing out on not drinking it. Hahaha!

Please do make one of this! I’d love to see what makes it to your list! 😀

This reminded of the movie ‘unfriended’, but whatever I find this a really nice idea 🙂 Omg, 1 to 6 is so me. Though I’ve tried coffee before, I’m just not really into it. I can go a lifetime without coffee, perhaps. #2 aww, I wanna hug you! I wanna hug myself too, but I know our time will come. Also, #6! I was once told by my teacher that I am missing a life, I didn’t mind actually ’cause I never truly liked mallows in the first place and my life is doing so fine Hahaha. I had fun reading this, Richel.

Hmm, I might try doing the same! Hahaha this is fun. As for coffee, well, I told on to it like it’s my lifeline. I can’t survive a day without coffee T.T I also haven’t traveled into far places without my family, but I’m booking trips here and there for next month and I’m doing it solo! Gaaah this is scary, but I’m going to take the leap! 😉

All those seven were achieved already. Huehuehue. Hope you can witness a waterfall with a rainbow. That’s my favorite part when visiting waterfalls. And you’re still young for datees (for me).

And, one thing I haven’t done with my life is to board a plane. 🙁

Waterfall with a rainbow brings a good image to mind. I can’t wait to witness that! I already feel too old to not have a single date. But, hey, I guess that happens when your friends already started dating at age 12/13? Haha!

Are you into travelling, Clint? I’m sure you’ll be able to ride one soon. 😉

    1. Coffee?? Really?? Oh well, who am I to judge? Haha
    4. I wish you’d explore the Philippine waters more! You can always wear a life vest so you’re safe! 🙂
    6. I also hate marshmallows with hotdogs, ugh. But I love them in smores and hot chocolate!

That’s my favorite part about games like this. You’ll never know what the other hides. Haha! What thing have you not done yet, Ochi? 😀

      1. I know, I feel weird. Even my 3 years old cousin LOVES coffee (although it’s not really good for her, lol.)
      4. I’m not a beach kind of person. 🙁 I WISH I WAS! But I’ve been going to beaches more (just went to one last week) and I love riding boats. I’ll get over my it soon, I hope! I really want to try cliff diving!

    1. Ahhh.. I love coffee so much. But I’m really trying my best to cut it out because of my Gastritis.
    2. That’s okay because you’re still young! I had my first date when I was 22 🙂
    3. Traveling alone is kinda scary for me. I don’t think I can handle it.
    4. I hate beach and swimming pools huhuh
    5. You’ll see one sooner, don’t worry.
6 and 7 I like Marshmallows and seafoods.

So one thing I haven’t done in this lifetime? hmm. Baka I’ll answer that on my next pos, haha! This is a nice idea! I had fun reading your entry.

      2. Keeping my hopes up until 25! Haha. But it’s really no big deal to me, some people just finds it surprising so I thought it’ll be fun to share.
      3. I’m so use to travel with my large family. I’m trying out travel with friends now and maybe, someday soon, I can travel myself. I’m still scared to do that now.
      4. Aw. Why? Haha. I’m fine with anything under 5 ft! Hahahaha.

Looking forward to your next post, Grace! 😀

Wow, you could win this game! Haha I’ve played this game before and my entry is always “I never had a tattoo” but since I already had henna tattoo, maybe I’d change it to “Never had permanent/real tattoo”? Haha

On your list, I only have #3 as the same! I never tried travelling alone yet. Though I want to try it, I think my boyriend would not let me to, kasi sasabihin nya sakin maiinggit sya, kaya gusto nya sumama hahaha

As for #1, I don’t like coffee too, but I have tried it! I always make sure to try something, and when the second try is still not good, I give up. Haha I don’t like the smell and the taste! #sorrynotsorry haha

#4 I also don’t know how to swim! Lakas lang ng loob talaga! Can you believe I was able to jump at 65-ft high waterfall? Hahaha

#5 This was one of my dreams, and just last year, I saw one! So you’ll see one sooner or later, don’t worry 🙂 There are even waterfalls near the metro 🙂

#6 WHHYYYYYY???? Marshmallows are my favorite huhuhu

#7 Another WHHHYYYYY??? Haha I even pity my friends who are allergic to seafood because they are so damn good! Maybe because I grew up with parents who both love seafood? Hehe

I also want to try and think of things I’ve never done and write my own version! 😀

I had to admit that I did win this game with my friends! (Hope my parents wouldn’t see this, lol. I was also about to add Never Had I Ever Had Alcohol on this list but this game kicked it out.)

For #1, I tried those coffee-flavored candies and unless I have no options available, then I don’t like them as well. 🙁 I also tried Seattle’s Best frappucino and there’s like a shot of coffee in there somewhere so I didn’t take another zip. Oops, bye PHp200. :((

For #4, I’m definitely changing it once I explore more beaches. Though I may always be wearing a lifejacket since I’m paranoid as hell (and drowning is one of the worst ways to die).

#6. Di talaga sila masarap for me. I’M SORRY. 🙁 Same with seafood. Huhuhu. 🙁 🙁 🙁

Please do something like this, Mei! I’d love to read your list! 🙂
