Travel Video: Throwback to Singapore 2007!

Wow. I can’t believe it’s been almost a decade since the first time I step foot into the Lion City. I didn’t even know travel videos were a thing back then. Lucky for us, my uncle likes making videos and taking photos. Therefore, our first ever summer vacation to Singapore was well-documented. I always get a laugh and a smile as I watch our Singapore 2007 travel video. I hope you guys do, too!

I’m now less than 24 hours (!!!) away from my flight taking me back to the Singapore for the fifth time. This will be my shortest stay yet but I’m still excited all the same. I’m really stoked the ride the twin roller coasters at Universal Studios Singapore, try out the extreme bungee and swing at Clarke Quay, and take a pose with a Taylor Swift wax museum at Madame Tussauds Sentosa. AHHHH! But, well, maybe I should start packing as soon as I get home from work…

You can follow me on Snapchat/twitter for timely updates and a peek into what Singapore has to offer: richelgoes.

Where’s your first ever out-of-the-country trip?

xoxo, Richel V.

This is why I love making videos whenever we travel! Sarap balikan nun mga memories while you’re travelling. I prefer to upload my videos in Vimeo since it’s only once in a while that I make one. My first ever out-of-the-country trip is in Philadelphia where we went there for training for our work. By the way, I did miss Singapore because of your video!!! Hahaha.

PS: I’ve switched hosting and domain. 🙂

True! I ended up making another one for my SG trip last week. Hehe. Go back to SG na. Hahaha. Way cheaper than going back to Phildelphia. :))

Always enjoyed reading about your SG trips, haha! I haven’t been outside the country — yet — because I still have a college life to complete first. Hahaha. Enjoy your trip, though! 🙂

Btw, I always find Youtube a lot more convenient, but I guess Vimeo works just as fine as well! 🙂

Although I’ve been to Singapore 3 times, I’d love to go back. Enjoy your trip.

I love rewatching videos! They bring back so many good memories. I hope you have amazing time in Singapore! And my first out-of-the-country trip was probably to Germany to visit my aunt, I was 6 I think, haha 🙂

Same! Now I’m too busy taking video clips, I don’t have time to blog anymore. Lol. Did you remember your German trip? Hahaha.

Enjoy your SG Trip, and have a safe one! 🙂

I also like rewatching videos and looking back at photos and reminisce the good memories, pero minsan nakakalungkot kasi gusto ko din bumalik hahaha

I just find both platforms okay when it comes to watching videos. But sometimes I prefer Vimeo, since Youtube inserts a lot of ads. Ugh.

Thanks, Mei! True. That’s why I don’t mind going to the same place twice.. or thrice! Hahahaha.

Yeah, too much ads on YT! And I hate it when they remove the music for copyrights thing. Such a hassle to fix it.
