Better than 20/20: My Lasik Surgery Experience

Shinagawa Lasik Surgery Experience
Always wearing glasses everywhere before + everything’s blurry.

I would just like to begin this by saying that Lasik is one of the best things I have done for myself in my 20’s. I have been wearing glasses since I was 12 – which is about half of my life! It’s been a pretty big inconvenience in my life, but I got used to it. I even tried contact lens for a year or so, but that was even more of an inconvenience, so I went back to glasses. I’ve been hearing about lasik from the past few years, but with the price it comes with, I was just non-committedly saying I’ll have it done one day. I absently check a few clinics from time to time that do Lasik and when I saw a promo that halved the price, I said, “You know what? This is a sign. Let’s do this.”

2018 in a Nutshell

2018 in a Nutshell

In my head, I already have at least five different ways to start my 2018 year-end post. But now that I’m typing this post down, I can’t seem to remember any of it. Oh well, here’s to winging it and hoping for the best – which is basically the attitude I have all throughout 2018.

Looking back at my 2017 year-ender post (that was deleted cause I accidentally deleted my blog), I see that I settled. Unfortunately for me, that’s also what I feel like I was doing in 2018 for some portions of my life. BUT, I also strived in other aspects of my life which I will happily take and is one of my goals for this year. It’s a year of ups and middle grounds, but overall, I was happy this year. I’ve been consistently happy for the past years and that’s something I’m very grateful for. To commemorate that, I’ll be sharing some of my 2018 highlights.

So… I kinda screwed up.

Richel Goes Places - I KInda Screwed UP

As I’m sure you might have noticed, my blog is looking a little… bare. Well, okay, let’s just be frank and say that it’s basically empty. You see, two nights ago, I got an email notification that my monthly blog back-up failed because my disk usage is almost full. So, I did what anyone else would do, I went ahead and deleted files that’s not really needed in my cPanel. Long story short, I screwed up and accidentally uninstalled an app that I had no clue was my whole WordPress blog. So here we are. Back to square one!
